"I've been visiting the Lake District for many years now and have stayed in many establishments. Tythebarn House was recommended to us by a local who had heard of their reputation.

To cut a long story short our stay was fantastic. We were greeted as if we were old friends, treated as if we were old friends and quite simply the proprietors could not do enough for us. The room was spotless and very comfortable and we had everything that we needed at our disposal.

One warning though...if you are trying to lose weight don’t go as Diana is a first class chef and whilst her cooking is heaven it is not good for the waistline. Looking forward to our next trip!!

Re Cooking Weekend

"We have really enjoyed our cooking experieince with Diana and Vic as wonderful welcoming hosts. The accommodation is excellent. We had great fun cooking an can't wait to get home and try some of the recipes.
